Gear Closet*Alpha Direct Series*-Farpointe’s Camp Socks

I got these socks to help out when it’s been a wet or cold day. Get to camp and ditch the shoes and hiking socks and slip on these pups. The downy feel of this fabric make it the perfect layer to put on your clammy ass feet, trust me! In some ways, it’s not like having a layer on at all with Alpha’s airy quality. Couple it up with a sandal or better yet a close toed camp shoe and you are golden. When the temperature dips low you can team these up with a pair of down socks for a knockout combo to sleeping in. The cut of the Socks are cut well. I have size 12.5  feet and I got the large size that covers up to 12 and they still are high enough to fit into my long johns with there elastic top cuff. Light and small, these are a great bit of security when you’re out when the weather system changes and shifts into a colder gear. Or better yet after crossing streams all day, you can’t lose.
