Not a good hat at all

Now I have to admit, when I initially saw this down insert for my Exped inflatable pillow I thought that it was an unnecessary weight in my pack. But after using it for a winter season here in the icy Southeast, I have changed my tune. At 2.5 oz. this pillow has kept my head nice and toasty on top of those ridge lines. It comes with an ounce, but I added an extra half for laughs and extra puff factor. The 8D fabric feels much softer on my face and the pillow snugs up nice inside the hood of my WM Bag or under it with little movement to speak of. A solid investment for all my winter hiking buddies out there!
